| What a coincidence, I just finished watching the entire series right now. It was pretty decent overall, I think. There wasn't too much that appealed to me on a personal level, but I can't help but appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail on display and it was mostly fun. The directing of the series was pretty intriguing as well, reminding me of Bakemonogatari but much less extreme. Haruhi herself could be pretty annoying as a character, which dragged certain parts of the show down, but she had her moments too and I have nothing against the rest of the cast. I didn't see it in broadcast order, but I'd say the episodes belonging to the first season were better. Bakemonogatari |
