3-gatsu no Lion and Self Destruction

Hello guys!
I watched 3-gatsu 2nd season a little while ago, and just now I suddenly remembered there was a great quote about "Self Destruction". The problem is that I can't seem to find it anywhere, and tbh I'm not even 100% sure it was from this anime. Does this ring a bell?

Been a long time since i watched too. I don't really remember what the anime said but maybe this is the case when someone tried too hard at something that they neglect all other aspects of living, could be health, social life, mental stress, like the mc, he's trying too hard at shogi that he neglects his highschool life.
