Does Godou Aquire More Authorities?

So I just finished volume nine, and it's a little annoying how Godou never seems to ever kill any gods and when he does, he still doesn't take their authorities. The other campion have multiple authorities but by volume 9, he's only acquired 1 authority, despite all the gods he's beaten. Especially frustrating is the bull**** with Athena where he get diddly squat, unless the sword upgrade is permanent.

As a side note, I totally though Godou would try and save Athena with the Warrior or the Ram, and I'm pretty disappointed that it never even came up.

Without spoiling anything too much, yes. Godou does get more authorities. Him killing gods to get more authorities isn't his intention whenever he fights, as you've probably already noticed, so the story fleshes out the authorities he does have already (or new ones he gains in later volumes) and finds new uses/techniques throughout the novels to make up for that fact.
