Does anyone know if the light novel has as many gamer related jokes as the series?

I watched the dub of "And you thought there is never a girl online?" and loved the gamer-focused jokes and scenarios. Specifically, the ones that were satirical. Do the light novel and manga have the same types of jokes? Is there any good manga that has the same type as the dub of this series but is the original source material? I would like to read a good manga with these types of jokes but like to read the source material first since things usually get cut in the adaptation and I'm a fan of knowing all the little details. I am new to the manga and light novel side of this community and would love to know how to find good light novels and manga if anyone knows that too. Sorry if this is a bit much. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. ^_^
