| A heartwarming episode. I somewhat understand what Shirase was going through when she was uncertain on proceeding onwards because there might be nothing else left to go after you've reach your goal and worst case scenario, nothing might change after you've done achieving your goal as if what you did was all pointless... her friends attempting to cheer her up while also giving her some space was so wholesome.. But damn bro I couldn't hold back my tears when all of that unread messages came out, I was crying for straight up 10 minutes fr bro why is every episode requires me crying I'm just trying to watch the damn anime... |

| When Shirase was like "I am going to where you are soon", I thought she meant she was dying or something but then I remembered she probs meant the place they were exploring. Before the ep finishes, I bet they will find something having to do with her mom since anime gotta anime. Yep. They found a whole dang laptop that was able to be turned on lol. Must be a waterproof laptop. At least it allowed for a feels moment with Shirase looking through all the emails she sent her mom. But we can't really say this is a realistic anime. |
| Now don't be ridiculous. It's impossible for the laptop to survive for three years at temperature below zero. And the battery is totally ok? Yeah, sure. I freezed my laptop once at temperature like -25 and it died. |

| My heart broke with that last scene of the unread messages appearing and with Shirase finally letting all the feelings out.. finally! And seeing the girls cry outside in the hallway was really saddening... But that just proves how much they care about Shirase. How do you make such great friends that care so genuenly about you? T_T |

| Eyes are sweating, and that too when I was full aware something like this was coming. Just watching Shirase breaking down in the end was the limiting point. Now realizing how her mother died make all that buildup upto this episode surreal. |

| Just finished this episode in my second rewatch (third overall viewing). It hurt a lot more than last time now that I'm able to observe the finer details in the show. I'm unable to continue looking at the screen as the episode plays towards the end, because I'm crying alongside Shirase's friends. That I felt transported to the scene itself says a lot on the strength of how it was built up. Seriously. - Shirase's messages to her mom shown in prior episodes, holding to that firm hope that Takako's alive, boomeranging at herself. - Shirase peeking at Hinata's email in Episode 11 subliminally prepared the audience for that scene. - Most of this episode touched on themes and emotions that finding Takako's laptop and seeing Shirase's emails later on would bring. I may now consider this the second best anime episode. For reference, here's my top five as of now: 1. Violet Evergarden E10 (primarily because it can stand alone better) 2. A Place Further Than The Universe E12 (this one) 3. Violet Evergarden E7 4. Your Lie in April E22 5. A Place Further Than The Universe E9 Honorable mentions are Vinland Saga S2E17, Clannad After Story E16 and E18, and this show's first episode. |

| Finally Shirase turn back being human, release the f** feelings girl! Also touching how her friends felt the same we felt listening Shirase for the 1st time openly crying for her mom. Btw, this ep easily is one of the top 10 highest rated episodes on MAL (95,1% of 5/5) |
