This episode is very interesting.
I'm glad to see another aspect of Jin.
They draw the nape of Shino so beutifully.
I wonder whether Fuu will find the samurai with sunflower scent.

One of my favorite episodes. Not only was it focused on Jin for once, but it also shows how much the trio's evolved as a group since the beginning. Fuu forces Mugen to get up from his cozy bed and go help Jin, Mugen complies (which means he cares for Fuu and/or Jin enough to sacrifice his own comfort for no profit whatsoever, not to mention he had probably given his hard-won money to Jin so that he could "buy" the woman in the first place) and buys Jin the precious time and Jin stays with the group in the end, although I think that with his level of fighting skill, he could have run away with his girl and never look back. Sure, it's better for her that he let her go, but I'm not sure he would have if he hadn't have Mugen and Fuu.
And to those people shipping Jin and Fuu: open your eyes! Jin has never even looked at Fuu the way he's looking at "his" prostitute. Plus, he's not the one who keeps saving her over and over, either.^^

Goddamn amazing episode, revolved around Jin. Unlike Mugen, I thought he's like asexual or something, haha. This episode explored the world they live in very well, I feel a lot more familiar now.

wow.. loved the last scene. I was hoping she'd escape successfully, and would end up with Jin.. why did he let her go alone :(

Absolutely beautiful episode, it was nice to see so much of jin falling in love and have more of the focus for the episode. The melancholy themes, constant rainfall aesthetic, and soundtrack only improved and made this easily my favorite episode so far in the anime.

This was the first episode that focused on Jin's character. It would've been great if they ended up together but he can't just leave Mugen and Fuu like that.
Also, the lil' banter between Fuu and Mugen was funny.
I keep saying this but the soundtrack is so fucking good.

Pretty good episode!!!!! Loved Jin getting some real screen time and thought that the characters in this episode were really likable (except the husband). I am a little worried at the lack of plot in the story so far tho.

Pretty sure it will be just like cowboy bepop where there's little plot development and just a bunch of random adventures they go on.

This had the best ending imaginable. Couldn't imagine Jin leave the group even for a brief time, and even if it was for a very sympathetic woman that deserved better. Bugs fight was a funny idea and Mugen enjoying it was equally fitting for someone like him.

wow, when they were escaping and it started playing Nujabes... it was beautiful. Seeing Jin fight without the swords was awesome and Mugen and Fuu helping Jin was beautiful too, they care for each other. And looks like Fuu likes Jin?

What I liked the most from this episode is we see compassion and affection from Jin when he really was characterized as a cold hearted man. I wished he would go with the girl in the end and start a better life with her than to be tied down to the promise of finding the sunflower samurai.
