This entire duel has been so epic and they completely stomp on it with that half-assed ending. All Jean had to do was draw and end his turn. C'mon now. I'm disappointed. |

| I think the directors realized they made the situation way too impossible to win so they were like "Oh shit, we've gotta make him a retard." I don't want the good guys to lose or anything, but I was basically screaming "END YOUR F***ING TURN! MY GOD!" Well, other than this retarded moment this was definitely one of the most epic duels I've ever seen. |

| Next episode seems filler-ish, though. Like it looks like it'll be like "congrats Yusei" blah blah but yugioh wiki says Sherry makes an appearance so hopefully it'll be good. I wonder what type of deck Team Catastrophe will use..prolly some dark deck. |
| omg what's up with the hate? i was actually pumped in this episode. the way yusei counter attacks anything jean throws at him same goes for him. though i agree they ended the duel with a in an awkward way they should have save the win in the next episode that way it would have been awesome other than that i'll vote 4 ^^ |

| Honestly while that duel was quite exciting it was almost equally frustrating. And that lame ending didn't help at all. Oh well before this duel I really didn't know what to expect from this tournament with new rules and all, but now I'm actually looking forward to the rest. That is, unless other teams are this infuriating o/ |

| Yeah, I was never a fan of this duel's ending either. Thinking back, I would've preferred if Team 5D's really did lose, just to show that they (read: Yusei) really aren't invincible. Especially considering how Andre practically beat the entire team on his own. |

| Well that was quite the ending. In my book, Yusei lost the duel >.> A drawout is just as much a victory as lp reduction. Especially since that was the whole point of the deck destruction strategy. However, they definitely got the whole "exhilarating duel" point across really well. This is also the first time Yusei's done a fusion summon. I was pretty hyped when that happened. Maybe (but probably not) we'll get a ritual summon this show? |

| Lol this whole round of the tournament was so lopsided and of course Yusei had to win somehow, but that ending will always go down as the worst duel ending in YGO anime history. Jean who always relied on his careful tactics to win had an out of character moment just so that Yusei could win via his hand trap. It was stupid beyond belief since Jean would've won had he simply ended his turn. I get that the duel had to end here, but the writer could've easily found a way to have Yusei win without that bullcrap at the end. |
| So this is where Draco-Esquite came from. I was expecting Accel Synchro, but whatever works I guess? Couldn't Jean just have immediately ended his turn and that would've made Yusei lose since he wouldn't have been able to draw? What's the point of all these extra moves? He screwed himself by letting Draco use Stardust's effect when all he had to do was nothing. Well, Yusei won I guess. |

| i think winning by depleting their life points is better than winning by running out of cards. I kinda understand why he wouldn't end his turn to win because it's not really a victory. like imagine this was yugi running out of cards but still had like 3000 lp. yeah kinda lame if they make him run out or cards to win. Its more epic to finish their LP instead. i think that was team unicorns mindset. to show people they got skills. just defending their point of view. . but Yusei does have alot of skills and it shows. Tho he did technically lost if he the other guy ended his turn. Things happen. and that happened. I'm not mad of the outcome of this episode. it was a good duel. |
| Yeah, the back and forth was crazy good but the ending was retarded. The most frustrating part is it wouldn't even be hard to write around: make Yusei win the mind game by baiting Jean to think that his final card was something that skips the draw phase. The seed of doubt was already there in Jean's mind. All Yusei needed to do was to confirm it. |

| Such I dumb duel with an even dumber ending. In the beginning they didn't want to use speed counter to save them for yusei so they spent the a bunch of turn with 12 counter with using them and then their win condition for yusei was decking him out *facepalm Also the fact they kept the board of the last member and that bs where they have to return and tag a new team member is also kind a silly. So many fillers or irrelevant episodes for this, hopefully the rest of tourney is better. |
