Damn, Spectre and his combos with Sun Avalon and Vine cards really is tough to beat. Watching Playmaker struggle against him is painful but I have to admit that Spectre is really skilled duelist.

Thought this episode was pretty thrilling between the two sides. I'm still impresesd that Playmaker was able to bring out some A-game despite being outmatched and even Link Summon to counter.

Damn it... Playmaker wasted the winning Excode combos due to Specter pulling some dirty death threat on Akira... Kinda reminds me to Kaiba's suicide threat against Yugi during the Duelists Kingdom...

That was good, the best parts were definitely towards the end where we delve into Yusaku's characterisation a bit more. He's obsessed with revenge, and yet when push comes to shove he'll always prioritise the safety of others over this obsession because of his sense of justice, even though his quest for revenge puts the safety of others at risk anyway, despite his best efforts to keep them out of it. There's a contradiction there, and it adds a bit of complexity to him.

As for the duel, I thought it was slow but I enjoyed it well enough.

Well the duel continues, well it seems no one in this show can read sarcasm, first Aoi, and now Ignus, can't anyone tell when Spectra is just messing with you and being sarcasm when he pretends he is in trouble.

So hostage taking, so Yusaku's weaknesses is he cares about people? Anyway I think the duel will be over next episode.

I don't know about you, but unless he is dueling Revolver or some other big bad, when Yusaku duels doesn't have the same tension as the other duels. When it is the other good guys, there is an uncertainty of who is going to win, while here we know Yusaku is going to win, it is just a question of how.

As a YGO-Player I really enjoyed this Episode. Spectre and his Combos are a real pain in the arse. I'm curious how Playmaker will manage to beat his board.

Specter is a huge cheat.....I hope Playmaker wipes the floor clean with him.

Must say though Specter and his deck sure gives some interesting duels.
