| My question is how long will it be and how much will it cover, and if it'll be more than one movie? The anime ended on chapter 197-198 (when they were about to board the train), meaning there's 9 volumes or 78 chapters worth of material that are needed to be adapted, which would be crazy to fit all of it in one movie assuming 1 volume equals ~20 minutes of content (9x20 = 180 = ~3 hours, makes sense to split in two) If the manga was adapted at 2 chapters/episode, then we have enough for 30-40 episodes (or 1 large/2 smaller seasons). But if Takehiko is supervising, then it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. Just gotta hope everything will go down well, as the final 2 games are the best in the series. |
