| Wow what a great start to a very promising Anime. Everything seemed to click with this first episode to me. Can't wait to meet the rest of the cast. |

Personally I think it's a remarkable way to present the concept, something that is indeed lost in the English translation. The title is trying to say that Antarctica is a place more difficult to reach than "the edge of space" , not really "the Universe". However, if they just used 空 (sora) , it wouldn't convey the same sense of difficulty, as anyone can by a plane ticket and be in the sky. So instead it's written as space but pronounced as sky, perfectly balancing the idea that going to Antarctica is more difficult to going to the edge of space (but not to space itself). The whole thing is not as grand as you imagine. Aside from 'Uchuu', Japanese word 宇宙 simply can also be pronounced as 'sora', thats how Japanese works as simple as that. Many japanese word has a few pronounciation, how it pronouces depend on the person or situation. Basically you can use 'Uchuu' or 'Sora' to your liking, even casting preview both pronounces were used. Don't use your own imagination to sproud nonsense. |

| My cousin has spent a great deal of time in Antarctica, and I'm anxious to do see how Madhouse's depiction of conditions there correspond to what she described to the family, when she got back. The story looks promising, I'm anxious for more. |

| The first episode really portrays the desire that everyone has at some point to break out of daily life well. Also, it's cute to see the girls become friends. I hope it will keep up :D |

| I personally love to see most of the planet tht we live on and I wish I could take a step on Antartica one day... So this will be a fun ride! Madhouse doesnt dissapoint, love the art-style, characters so far are nice. I love the looks of that ship, even more when I realised it actually exsists. Overall very good start. |

| Randomly started watching it and was quiet interesting. Was thinking that trigger was behind this one from animation but turns out its madhouse which caught me out a bit. Looking forward though. |

I was getting Little Witch Academia vibes just in terms of the MC of each show. |
| Love the artstyle in this anime, light and colorful and alot of emotion in it. 7/10 episode, have high hopes for this one, hope it'll get better as the season goes. Also, how is Antarctica further than the universe? xD |

| a good start for the Season... The fact that Inorin voiced the MC reminds me of the last season's Girls' Last Tour, which kinds of makes me think that this is Girls' First Tour instead lol... Also that NGNL reference, to think this series was done by Madhouse too was kinda unexpected (then again, I remember "Summer Wars" and "Ookami Kodomo" too)... I like the Animation, and both OP/ED songs are nice too... |

| Yeah, if you watch Yuri Yuru Camp it pretty much goes hand in hand with this. What can I say, pretty decent first episode and the voice actors are really nailing it. I will be sticking around for sure. |
| Really good first episode. I loved the music, the voice actors were really consistent, and the animation was amazing. Also, I can't've been the only who was reminded of Tsuki ga Kirei's art style for the characters, right? |

| I have pretty much exactly the same personality as Mari so could relate Not sure HK's voice tic fits that girl's design, even tho she is doing her deep voice For some series you can just feel class oozing out of the scenes and this was one of them. Felt great |
| Kana Hanazawa sounds strange as Shirase, I not used to hear her as this type of character. If show was made few years ago she would've voiced the MC. |

| This is just good. Working hard and having courage to pursue an adventure.. And looks like by the intro, some others would be tagging along with them - I do wonder what reason those other people would have to go to antarctica? XD Will keep following. I like the art style for this anime. :) |
| A pleasant surprise for me. This was on my PTW list, but I was expecting more of a CGDCT in Antarctica, not the more serious tone of this show. More serious tone = just what I'm looking for. Shirase and Mari make a good team. Somehow the excellent cast escaped my notice when I first added this . The journey motivated by Shirase's search for her missing mother is a classic plot device. It almost has a Jules Verne feel set in modern Japan. |

The girls were so relatable (main girl,long haired girl and glasses girl...don't remember their names yet hah)...I am strange mix of all three. Well, it's good to have anime sending you the message that you should not waste your life and that you can even go to Antarctica if you want to. And you can! why are they telling her it's impossible? |
