| Honestly, I'm a bit surprised with all of 4Kids' dubbing of Pokemon so far. They're way more lax with this than they were with One Piece. Brock had a dagger in the Bulbasaur episode, and in this there's guns as well as rice balls (replaced with chocolate chip cookies in One Piece, lol). Eftanzio said: I agree, Squirtle looks so cool in shades, and it would differentiate Ash's from the rest. But, seeing his eyes is kinda nice too, 'cause you can see his emotions better. | Didn't expect the first squirtles in the anime to be delinquents lol. So Satoshi got his Zenigame. Yokatta desu ne, Satoshi xD Also surprised that Satoshi has hadn't interaction with Gary (or whatever his Japanese name is) yet since the first episode. We saw a glimpse of him this time though. |

| Aww that Squirtle at the end was super cute. That gang was indeed mischievous but it's no surprise that they are like that considering the past that was given for them. I have a feeling meowth did that plan just so e can have the food lmao. I enjoyed this episode lots. |

There's a big difference between aiming rifles at someone, and literally shooting at characters, which was most likely one of the reasons why the Safari Zone episode didn't get dubbed. | What smart and independent squirtles! This episode made me think, remembering the previous charmander episode: what kind of fools are there that brought squirtle squad to the level of savage? And besides, they surprisingly well exist without a coach. |
| Man there was guns and bombs in this episode. James with the mp5 and Jesse with an rpg. Not to mention Ash almost getting blasted by the town folks. And those Squirtle's were yakuza bro. It's nice to see that Ash got all the starter Pokémon. Honestly my favorite episode so far for being edgy and a little over the top. |
