Am I the only person who thought the plot made no sense?

I get that there was a lot of exposition for a two hour movie, but I didn't really understand what was happening, especially at the end with the whole dream thing and how Eureka came back to life? Do I just have a bad attention span, or did they not really explain what was going on and instead leave it up to the viewer to interpret what was happening?

I tried to follow along as best as I could, but I just couldn't get it at all. Everything just didn't make sense.
