| Absolutely. Whenever I watch Haikyuu that's all I can think of. It's a great anime that lets the imagination run wild and subtly gives the viewers hint on the sexual tension between the characters. Really beautifully and artistically demonstrated. |

Half of those things actually happen in sports... I don't know if you noticed but, half the things guys do in sports is gay. and then they say #nohomo. And yet girls get told we act lesbian all the time so it is impossible to tell who is lesbian. Sports are just the space men feel most intimacy for each other even if they are straight. But it is hot. I think my thinking characters are actually gay/bisexual is a bit higher than just looking at each other. Like when a white haired boys tells a dark haired boy "I love you" and also held his hand in the bath while speaking philosophically... maybe that is a little gay? Playing Piano and white hair boy is all like "wow we sound so good together", looking at the stars saying "I really was born to meet you" And maybe if dark haired boy says loved them too confirms the feeling is mutual. I donno. No expert and people still to this day fight about it 20 years later. I don't need kissing to make it gay but.... I would say my standard is high. I would say, if a man strips down naked and declares his love for another guy probably at least a little more gay than a guy who does it with clothes on. |

| Finished the anime and I can honestly say that there wasn't a single sexual tension or gay as claimed between the characters nor the anime intended to do so. It's just a sports anime with a team that is burning with fire of enthusiasm to win and some random quirks to make it entertaining. If anyone that comes across this is bothered with this yaoi stuff and hesitated to watch, don't be. It will be an injustice to miss this great anime simply because of this misunderstanding or these wild imaginations. |

| No, and most likely never will be, since it's serialized in the Shounen Jump magazine.(manga aimed mainly at a young male audience.) And sports is the main focus, not romance of any kind. It's possible shounen manga/anime can have LGBT+ characters but that doesn't make it yaoi or shounen-ai. It's fine to have ships and all, and I even read some BL myself... But Honestly it gets annoying when fujoshi/fudanshi are so delusional they will swear their ships are canon and tries to make people believe certain anime are yaoi when they aren't. |

But I am a Haikyuu stan and I love all the characters as individuals, but I don't ship any of them or see them romantically involved in any way. |
