TBH, with how much I'm unironically loving the low-quality trash show Shobitch, I now look back on Eromanga as some kind of high-quality trash for elite connoisseurs....

And I've still never seen Oreimo.

Jokes aside I don't really hate the show, I actually unironically enjoyed it, I gave it a 7 even which isn't a highly recommended show but its for my personal enjoyment end.

Though looking forward to the OVA tbh.

Dunno if they'll do a beach ep or a hot springs ep or what else standard OVA stuff they decide to pull out, but either way I hope we get some good Sagiri and/or Elf lewds out of it

Not that the main show itself doesn't contain some light ecchi themes too but there it's still kinda tame. Some more explicit loli ass would be much appreciated <3

Yeah, the knee jerk morality reviewers with zero capacity for critical, historical or legal thinking have annoyed me that much.

Oh, fun facts:
- According to Wikipedia, the actual "worst" (read, least restrictive) incest laws in the world trophy probably goes jointly to Côte d'Ivoire, China, Estonia, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, and Spain, which are all listed as having consensual incest between adults being legal and no mention is made of additional prohibitions related to marriage.
- According to the same list, the strictest laws are unsurprisingly probably those of Iran where there's a death penalty on the table for incest.
- Special mention for the entry they have for Italy, apparently it's only illegal there if it causes a scandal. Go figure.

Actually, the only bit of the plot that sticks out as being particularly suspect is Elf just happening to buy that house. I can't think of anything else that jumps out as being outside of normal fiction licences around plausibility.

To understand some of the plot issues around Sagiri you have to understand the not immediately obvious detail that she "inherited" her mother's career, style and pen name.

Not sure in how it is in the manga, but the anime is basically grossly simplifying the 3 primary types of creative people: those who are creating because it's a job and they have to create to have money, those who create because they're passionate about it but aren't all that consistent in output, and those who create because they want to make stuff they like and don't really care about other opinions or profitability. Sure it's a simplification, but most creative people tend to fall in or two of those three groups simply because of the types of mind sets that lead people to create in the first place.
That said, the ages and writing speed is kinda silly... the ages I'll forgive, since it's only improbable to be a published author at that age, the speed strains the laws of physics though

Eromanga Sensei is now my number one curiosity. I have never seen the show, but I've seen reactions to it, including funny video reviews such as the ones from Gigguk on YouTube. And honestly, based on the strange dichotomy of vitriol and love for the show, I almost can't wait to see it. I might wait until the OVA(s) come out next year just so I can take more of it in. I have too many other shows to get to at the present.

If you don't like something that's fine, but people bashing on things because it's cool to bash on them gets old really quickly, especially when there are actual dumpster fires of shows that get ignored because it's not edgy or cool to complain about them. Eromanga seems to be turning in to the SAO of 2017 that way ¬_¬
