| Both start at the beginning, and Shaft's version goes much further i think (either that, or it's some original story as MAL's description claims). Either way, neither are complete adaptation, so you'd better read the manga if you want to fully get UQ Holder |

| They are not season 1 or season 2 of each other. Negima!? is adapted from Negima Neo (I think?). Mahou Sensei Negima is adapted from the manga of the same name. Negima!? is an alternative version, and not the original. Mahou Sensei Negima is the original series but the anime kinda goes off and ruins the series by doing its own thing IIRC. The series itself doesn't really pick up til the events after the anime, so relying on the anime isn't going to get you anywhere. The only real proper adaptions are OVAs, which even then skip a ton of stuff inbetween. I'd suggest you go read the manga if you are interested in the series. |
