| No it was a bootstrap paradox. Older Mikuru tells him about the mole thinking he already knows when in reality he has no idea. Kyon than goes though old photos of Mikuru and confirms she does indeed have the mole (if older Mikuru never told him, he probably never would have noticed). He tells Mikuru and she learns about the mole (she never knew either). As far as Mikuru is concerned, he is the one who told her about the mole, so the future one tells him because in her mind he was the one who told her and as such already knows. |

You say that, but I thought it was interesting when she started thinking about it and she said, "Oh no, that was before we..." and she trailed off and realized she screwed up. Also interesting she feinted that kiss and then told him not to get too friendly with her. Either way it's an interesting debate if it remains up in the air as to what really happened. |
