I'm guessing you haven't read all of the manga?

I still don't think that answers his question. I'm confused too. So Kato reached 100 points and chose the option to revive the girl. But then right after he also got to run home to see his brother?

This thread is a bit confusing, let me just explain the ending to you.
You can revive another person, get an upgrade/weapon or set yourself free (+ a memorywipe) for 100 points; wich he received after killing the big bad boss. Kato revived the girl because he wanted to keep his promise to her.
After the game is over, you're free to go home until the next game randomly teleports you back to the room, wich he does.

Then comes the confusing part:

1) There is a timeskip to where he revives everyone and finally chooses to sets himself free from Gantz' game.
2) After my rewatch I noticed that the ending could also mean that he joined the game before and that this timeskip was actually a flashback from Reiko (the model) wich makes it mean that this was Kato's second game (not remembering the other one because of the memory wipe). Also, in this case, this means that you're destined to join Gantz everytime you die, even though you freed yourself before.

I could be wrong, that's why I wrote my 2 theories about the ending there. The movie does something very weird and confusing in the end. What is certain is that Kato gets back at his normal life and has a happy ending.

This is a cartoon site, you clown. Elitism in general is cringe enough already. Let people enjoy stuff.
Reminder to stay hydrated and read Umineko No Naku Koro Ni
