| There is "nudity" if seeing ppl in underwear is nudity, but I wouldn't say it's for fanservice. It's kind of ironic. There's neither sexual content or extreme/ morbid violence. It may appear scary at first, like in the horror genre, but it's nothing like it. It's a beautiful ode to life. |
| Yes, it's not metaphorical since the story espouses its themes, life and death are tackled concretely, - which is rare since most philosophical animes do it through metaphors, dialogues, abstract and ambiguous symbolism. So yeah, there is philosophy, and I loved how they displayed it, in a very accessible and concrete way. You should totally give it a try, it's worth it. |
