| Hello, I've read Grisaia no Kajitsu watched the Meikyuu and Rakuen anime sequels and read the 3 side stories, Yuukan, Sanritsu and Zankou. But I'm very confused atm due to the timeline. Since I didn't read Meikyuu or Rakuen, I don't know the exact timeline. So since the VNs are currently the most fresh in my mind, as far as I know, Yuuji starts off as 17 years old in Kajitsu. He's supposedly 10 when he meets Sachi. At this time he still lives with his parents? Then according to the Meikyuu anime he then lives with his mother for a while. Then he goes to Oslo. After Oslo he goes with Asako. I also know he goes to America to train. I just can't fit in when exactly. In the Meikyuu anime he seems grown up. In the Zankou VN he seems to be young 15-16 at most. It's mentioned that he's already been to America since there's talk of Danny. Also in Senritsu he's already 9029. In Senritsu however he's not that old either. Also he would return to Asako at the end. This pretty much means he's still probably about 16-early 17 at most. I also remember something like Yuuji going to his high school about half a year or so? after he left his place at Asako. Or maybe it's mentioned in Kajitsu after the Angelic Howl that he hasn't been there for half a year. Anyway I can't quite fit everything in in a proper timeline. 10 @ mother 11-12?? @ Oslo 12-13?? @ Asako 13-15?? in America 15-16?? @ Asako That's honestly the best I can do. But it doesn't really make a lot of sense. Also it's kinda inconsistent. In Kajitsu his interest in the taste food is extremely low. While in Senritsu and Zankou he clearly cooks edible meals which aren't closed to being rations. He even mentions something like finding bits of happiness when refering to tasty bavarois. EDIT: Apparently in Amane's route it's stated he was in America for 2 years. And he's been working 2.5 years as a regular after that. So if those were all consecutive and he's 17.5 by then, he was 13-15 while in America. For some reason it seems weird that America would train military people who are 13-15 years old at most. |
