| Thank God this is a more coherent episode. A young Akane and Kotori while Kotarou is the same age, albeit cold/cocky. An interesting start. I don't knwo what happened to that "Moon arc" but I'll act as if it didn't exist... |

| So the first three episodes were more like an intro to the rest? I was wondering why we didn't have an opening at all and it more or less started very confusing. I mean it's been more than a year since I watched S1 I think but the first episode of this was even more confusing than the first episode of S1 (that one was more of a mindfuck than confusing anyway). I knew we were in a different route but it felt so random when Kotarou just woke up and walked around. No explanation, nothing. This episode felt a lot more like a start of something. That Kotori part was sad and slightly annoying at the same time >.> Annoying because both of them behaved so aggressive towards each other for quite a while and Kotarou didn't entirely stop it. Also I kinda just realized but with the age gap are they still going do relationships? I cannot really imagine the writers doing an entire route without any relationships but with the difference in age I cannot really imagine how they start that. I mean Kotarou will probably meet all of the girls in some way anyway but it obviously is a lot easier to explain if they simply go to the same school. |

| Hmm, it wasn't as bad as adaptation of the novel I guess. Even Kotori looked really cute when she was a child. But, if you are asking why Kotarou is such asshole or why he is 10 years older than them this time - the answer is 'just because'... hate to say it but it's only plot device to let them tell his (cringy) backstory - there is no meaning, it wasn't answered in the novel and he's like that probably because Tanaka Romero though it was cool. Well, still better than the visual novel so far I guess. The next episode will be probably too. But then the trainwreck of the story kicks in when we return back to him being soldier and I honestly hated that part of the story because it doesn't make any sense and felt ridiculous. |
