| LOL I love this arc already! For every boring Gintama arc (happens pretty rarely though) we get like 10 awesome arcs like this one :D Four quick things i love about Gintama: 1) Developing established minor characters: Ketsuno Ana is arguably one of the most rarely seen characters on the show yet they decided to give her an actual backstory and show us what drives her as opposed to just being the weather girl with a funny name... This is what Gintama excels at - CHARACTERS! Gintoki's crush on her is also really cute. ^_^ 2) The reversal of standard shounen tropes: The summoning of a demon to fight for you turns into a family tragedy. Bad guys feel bad and wants to help out... Ends up being their downfall = Genius writing xD 3) Badass female characters: Gedomaru totally is! I love how Gintama introduces new characters so flawlessly! 4) The humor of course :D |

| I love how Gintoki is basically confessing to her in this episode. Gintoki would really deserve her returning his feelings and I'd love to see these two together but sadly I know it's not gonna happen. :-( |

| It's not gonna happen because Gintoki belong to Tsukuyo! Anyway here we are finally on the Omnyouji arc, which is the last arc before Gintama finally gets serious (beyond episode 200). Also does Seimei (the guy that appear at the end) reminds you of Itou Kamotarou from the Shinsengumi rebellion arc? And I think this arc will be the better version of that haunted onsen arc with stand and whatnot. |
