| So Yayaka is the childhood friend? Poor girl, she already lost the Cocona Bowl before it even started smh. This episode was something else, I mean we had Mad Max, BDSM, Mahou Shojos etc..xD I also like how during their transformation state, Cocona has red hair, while Papika has blue. |

| So this is just another Mahou Shoujo-type anime? Can't say I expected that after the first two episodes (I mean there were signs but it could have just as well went into a different direction). I'm kinda disappointed now. The moment they transformed into their full forms was the point in time they lost me. I mean I kinda liked the style when they got more powerful and had bright hair but now it's just the same-old just a bit more flashy... Why can't we have people with super natural powers? Why do people always have to transform? |

| Really needed some sort of premise at the start. That really threw me off and made me double check that I was watching the correct episode. I hope that doesn't happen too much. But when I got into it, a very interesting and action-packed episode. Cocona's feelings of frustration towards Papika manifested in fighting her somehow, which was quite a shock to me. And now Cocona's bitch classmate is one of the pure illusion middle schoolers. No idea what will happen next so I'll just watch... |

| I feel bad for the people who watched this weekly man. It's not even slightly confusing on binge. It's way more aesthetic over plot but it def has a narrative and story it's weaving in. Also those transformations were top tier. And Papika and Cocona are hella gay, not like I couldn't comprehend that by episode 1. |

| Enjoyed this version of Pure Illusion but we kind of just got thrown in there. I’m going to assume since they were able to transform into Magical girls that we have missed a few adventures. Art and animation were great. |

I guess it's an alternate version of her tho :3 and the twins from ep 1 appeared too :3 Cocona's guardian at the end ;A; how sweet of her. I really want them to balance their real life time VS Pure Illusion time better :/ that way Cocona doesn't miss cram school and whatnot (the Asian nerd in me frowns upon that lmfaoooo) |

| I feel like I just watched a fusion between Uchuu Patrol Luluco, Darling in the Franxx, Kaiba and some magical girl show... That was weird. It didn't even feel like the same show as previous episodes actually. Give me back my Alice in Wonderland trippy aesthetic ! It was fun, but it didn't have the same charm as previous episode, and I think I understand even less what's going on. What happened that led for Papika and Cocona to be separated ? How did Papika find herself in the desert ? How many time has passed between the two episodes ? Why was Cocona's friend among the villains ? AND WHY ISN'T COCONA QUESTIONING ANYTHING ?????? I hope I'll get my answers by the end... |

| Mad Max, Star Wars, Sailor Moon, and even KKK? Wow. This was a pretty crazy episode with all those references. I'm sure the anime studio had lots of fun making the episode, haha. That magical girl transformation was nice. |

| With this ep, the show seems to have finally firmly established it’s genre, tone, the main duo’s alter egos, and their rivals. With a little adjustment they could probably make this the first ep lol. |
