It's been a while since I've seen it but I believe it's the story being told through Menma's perspective instead of Jinta. If you enjoyed Ano Hana as much as I did then you'll enjoy the movie. There are definitely recaps in it but I it there's also new stuff i wouldn't want to spoil.
