| I understand the story does not appeal lot of users but the rating is supposed to be on tons of other elements for example the music, animation, voice acting, background music other shit than just the plot. And if you're watching hentai for jerking off, why the fuck would you even care about the plot? I saw a 5 rating on Boku no pico and it baffled me. Most people who watch it are already told about the extremely disturbing horrific stuff that lies beyond yet they choose to watch anyway to satisfy their own curiosity. There's no need to force yourself to watch it, especially when theres' 10000 more anime you could watch. What the fuck is with these ratings? And also the reviews, which clearly state to mention on not just the story but everything else, including character development which I believe Boku no pico did a great job at. |

| I mean since you described it as simply fap material not every fetish is going to apply to every person, so in that sense the story setting up a fetish they don't approve of would then be negative. But looking at the numbers out of a 1129 entries under Hentai over 100 are rated higher than a 7. Like you said though there are quite a few other factors that also play a part in ratings so assuming poor ratings is simply because of story seems like a broad generalization, I mean it's probably one of the few areas where I personally take heavy focus on animation which I don't do in most shows. Granted I also don't add them to my list but that's a different matter. |

| Well as someone who watches a lot of hentai I would say a few reasons as to why you give a hentai a bad score is either it has boring sex scenes, doesn't cater to any of your fetishes, has things you consider disgusting, sex scenes are too short or skip through things you'd like to see For example I don't like it when a hentai skips the insertion part especially when it comes to anal sex and I tend to lower the score because of that |
