Blu-ray collection, region locked?

Hi!
My sister is pretty much in love with this show, and I was thinking of getting both bluray collections for her birthday early december.
But we live in Europe, and Europe sucks when it comes to anime. If Cross Ange ever gets released here, it'll probably be in a hundred years or something.
I've been trying to find out if the Region A/American version is region free or not, but I can't seem to find any information about it at all, so here I am (Where I probably should have asked first).

Now, even if it is region locked I do have the option of getting the Australian Region B version, but I'm unsure about Australian censorship.

So I have two questions anyone here hopefully can answer:

1. Is the American version region locked?

2. Does the Australian version contain any form of censorship, compared to the American version? (This might be a dumb question)

I hope I followed the rules of the forum and that someone can help me with this.

I have the US kite collection on blu ray and it's region free although it says it's locked online. I bought mine on crunchyroll/right stuf and works perfectly on my ps3. (Living in Ireland) :)

I totally forgot about this thread! Thank you for replying :)

I bought the Australian (Madman Ent.) version and it's not censored in any way. Hope this thread helps someone else.
