No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!
| She annoys her brother, disrespects her mother, lies to her little cousin, cheats against children in a card game, calls her only friend a slut, badmouths everyone inside her head and even wishes for everyone to die in a terrorist attack. I also understand that her inability to talk to people was overplayed for laughs but, honestly, I've never once in my entire life met anyone with so much trouble speaking. I've known people with social anxiety. They responded just fine when I talked to them (shyly maybe, and quietly, but they sure didn't run away or make any awkward faces). Is this relatable? Is this what the average otaku really thinks inside their head? This is sad and I refuse to believe that this disgusting, appalling caricature of a character represents anyone. |

| I understand Tomoko so much because I hate myself for those actions I did back in high school. Have you ever tried to forget the past you spew out in the past like Tomoko did with her arm dealings dream to Yuu? I hated myself for saying stupid things in the past so much lol. So I can totally understand how she is unlikable, but found myself relating to her in many ways that I personally hated. Heck, at one point I was so embarrassed I wished everyone die from laughing. She is so relatable. |
