| I love Slam Dunk but honestly I'd prefer an adaptation of Inoue's current basketball manga, Real. Its so good, probably even better than Slam Dunk. |
| It's ToeI, rebooting past franchise to bring it back to life is something they do often, so I will say the chance is pretty high but not anytime soon, maybe 5 or 10 years later, they did remake an old obscure franchise like Tiger Mask, so why not SlamDunk? | Moved from Anime Discussion I haven't actually watched Slam Dunk yet, but I've heard how great the last match was in the manga. Was the anime a complete adaption? Even if not, I suppose it would be interesting to see the series updated to today's current visual standards, but I'm not sure what else could be done. |

| Yeah, i would love to see it although if it does happen i don't think it will get a reboot anytime soon.. It's just a shame that the anime didn't adapt the best part of the manga :/ |

| not gonna happen unless the original author (mangaka) approves of another anime adaptation of it because he cancelled the anime license for it i heard (he was unhappy about the anime adaptation) |
