| The art really has gotten a lot better. I've been dying for some character development so this was nice. I straight up hated Kaji's design at first & I still think her boobs are too big or just look funny but now her character is starting to grow on me I'll admit. That death was pretty tame for Gantz standards but was still enjoyable to see. I'm glad too because I'm looking for her to team up with Kurona & be a good guy. Not that those two girls aren't going to eventually start to love Kurona after they watch her throw down hardcore & save their lives no doubt! haha |

| Do you guys mean in regards to how the series started, or how far Gantz has come from years ago? I found the art has been getting better, but even with the Osaka arc having some excellent art, Oku's terrible at separating blacks from everything else. There were times where I was so confused. I'm really hoping that, with the help of Iijika, the artwork stays discernable. And yeah, the deaths here have been rather tame. I'm fine with that, considering it's not the deaths that make the series, but I wish this Kurona recieved the same 'origin story' treatment Kurono got in the original series (i.e. having chapters 1-100 essentially define who Kurono REALLY is remembered as.) I'm just glad that Kurona is LIKEABLE for an MC right off the bat. Getting through those first hundred chapters of Gantz was hard since Kurono was such a douche bag. |

| Seems like Kurona and Kaji might turn into this series Kei and Kato, which works just fine since Kurona's a great lead so far and Kaji's getting to be a more interesting character as these chapters go on. Perhaps she and Kurona are more similar than what Kaji would like to admit to herself? On the other side of things the idol and class rep (can't remember their names) are the worst, can't wait to see them get humbled once shit hits the fan. Also why do I feel like Kaji's step father is going to get dragged into a Gantz hunt? It's not like the ball has never bent the rules just to mess with its "contestants" before. Hope I'm wrong, scum like him deserve to stay dead... |
