| I am enjoying more than I should despite the obvious flaws of the adaption. Mostly because I love dark fantasy setting which Japanese anime is lacking in that apartment. Plus this is as close to a Dark Soul anime as it will ever be. Kinda wanna reread the manga but I don't to suffer like the Hunter X fans...=( |

| Good episode. I saw the torture part coming, I knew there would be some kind of catch to the "kindness" that Mozgus was showing. Although the chamber itself was pretty gruesome. Again with the censored nips. I still don't understand why, because you have a guy that's geting his brains screwed in and another guy humping a spiked wall in the same room!! Yeah, just remove the nipples and now this anime is safe to watch for 14 year olds. Is that the logic? Anyways, it didn't bother me AS much as it did in the other episode in which you had to stare at it for 15 minutes straight. When they mentioned the brand on Casca, I started to wonder "Hey yeah, why don't the demons chase her as well?" Then they suddenly popped up. Now I'm wondering why didn't they chase her before? Why did Guts think it was safe to leave her at the blacksmith's house? All questions I hope the manga will answer? I feel like Berserk is going to blueball me again with another cliffhanger and more questions than anwsers in the end. I'll watch one more and then I'll go to sleep. Then I'll be halfway through the series. Oh yes, and indeed, the music is topnotch! The Guts theme might be good, but this music is definitely more fitting, imo. And tbh, I'm low-key annoyed by the people that keep telling they hate the CGI. I'm not the biggest fan of it either, but beggars can't be choosers. Get over it, people. I've already heard you the first 4-5 times, lol. XD |
