| the series has been having "sad ending" vibes from the start but you guys just made me sure. idk if i should look forward to next episode or not. i hate for tearing my heart but i love them for the same reason at the same time. if i don't feel sad by the ending, you guys are the reason! |
| So Mr. Customer is going to his ride but Yumemi is constantly needing breaks because her legs are overheating and need cooling. She wasn't made for kilometer long walks like this or maybe she's just a bit rusty. Lol she was telling that there are bumps in the road and was constantly falling over those very bumps. Lol the guy was looking at that bottle from every angle to make sure it isn't going to blow up and Yumemi picks it up just like that and hands it to him. The guy has taken a liking to Yumemi and doesn't want to see her in this empty city waiting for the customers who will never come. And Yumemi can't process this new information that the city is deserted which is why she still wants to stay at the planetarium and wait for customers. That ending though. The robot was stronger than he expected and it fired back at him. And by the looks of it, it managed to strike pretty close too. But the guy is probably alive, I hope though. |
| I see people randomly praising it as a super-adaption of a VN... I don't know about the source and how sparse it might be, but this is flying by way too quick for me. In this case, the VN was probably lacking content because of how short it is, that's fine i guess. I can't really judge on adaption quality, because of not reading the VN's for any series, but i do know wthere have been numerous seriously quality anime over the years that were VN-sourced. Well she's a robot unlike other series where the robots are too human or too high tech. This time we got a robot that actually acts like one. Didn't expect the JoJo studio goes well with Key. I thought only KyoAni can do a proper Key adaptation. Not that I really know since I didn't read the VN. To VN readers will there be an actual battle next ep or will it be over quickly? |

| There was one thing I didn't like and thought was rushed in this episode, assuming the subtitles accurately matched with the VN translation I read on Steam. They didn't do much to explain the difference between the killbots (actually Menschenjaegers) Junker ran into in the beginning and the Fiddler Crab, and it's going to lessen the impact of the upcoming scene if it's not addressed. I'll spoiler tag to get more specific (and this will lightly hint at Ep. 5): There's still time to fix that, and it all depends on how they handle the last scene. But if it's left like that it would be a little disappointing to me, given that there are so few plot threads and connections in this story (since it's so short, even in VN form) That was pretty wordy, but hopefully someone who's read the VN knows what I'm trying to say. |

| This is certainly one of the best adaptations I've ever seen, the anime is perfectly following the plot of the VN and I like it quite of the animation, but this final ... well, I'm sure I'll be very touched .. |

| This is the penultimate episode and I've just realized that his MAL DB name "Kuzuya" literally translates to "Junker" because of some dialogue ,_, Every time she trips, my heart breaks even if she can't feel any pain 💔 Yumemi's little Robot Heaven speech was so touching... Her intentions was so pure that I was moved to tears for a moment. Why can't people be like her? :'/ Sheesh. That old dude got blown up by a liquor landmine! Yumemi just yanked that bottle like it was nobody's business. She's gotta be more careful next time. Kuzuya wants her to come with him so bad~ I'm surprised at how he envisioned their future together. So sweet! Misfire?! Goddamn mech looked so badass. I hope Mr. Customer made it out alive in that To Be Continued moment... I guess the last episode's gonna be soul-crushing. |
