There should have been an in detail explanation in Hellsing: the Dawn, but unfortunately that thing went on infinite hiatus, so we are left with what we have unfortunately. |

Well I have readed a bit of the wikia when yep, seems he just decided to betray them to fight Alucard, because he was so OP. So there is really no concrete motive beyond fan suppositions. |
