Man up and admit you at least teared up :P damn was that ending sad. This is like the only anime I've cried at any part in, it just really struck me.

I didn't, I don't know what the heck was going on during the first time through it, even if I did, I wouldn't have cried/teary eye.

So far, only Clannad ~AS~ is the closest to get me into teary eyes.

Air is pretty cool of an anime, but for me, Clannad and Kanon is better when it comes to getting the viewer into the story and really appreciate the sad/emotional moments.

I've seen neither of those but have heard that they're better for that too. I was planning on checking those out pretty soon since Air got me in the mood for more of the same type of thing and they're all Key stories.

Omg :( i am so freaken depressed, what are the writers trying to do to you. That was so sad and depressing i almost got sick over it.

I feel like going back and watching an anime series with lots and lots and lots of comedy and happy happy moments!

For some reason Air didn't struck me at all.

And I think this is the cause. Maybe they had to make Air into a 24 episode series, so you would get to know the characters and their stories better.

No. Unlike Clannad and Kanon which have 5+ heroines, Air only has 3 (arguably 4 with Kanna). The series simply could not have worked with 24 episodes.

Those who didn't get the series just didn't get it, and that's okay. Not everyone is going to follow a story that is so steeped in Eastern mythology and religion, but that's not the fault of the production studio.

I love it. It's by far my favorite of the three Key works animated by KyoAni.

DEFINITELY. After coming from Black Lagoon, I thought Air would've been lighter...err, WRONG! Should've read the reviews first lol. And I've no shame to say that a few tears were shed, especially the moments between Haruko and Misuzu (you know the one) and that haunting song came on...Yep, them tears did run!

Yeah I did, it was so sad...Couldn't care less about the Kanna story though, that was annoying, but Misuzu's story was so sad..

Just finished this, yes a few tears did roll. 12 eps is plenty of time to get attached to the characters
