Is the Persona 4 anime much different from the game?

Ive recently played through Persona 4, and I'm looking to watch it, I'm just not sure if it will be faithful or not. I'm worried because the Danganronpa anime wasn't great.

It follows pretty well the game actually. However the protagonist has no personality, mostly because it was up to the player to characterize him as they please... that said is still worth your time ^^

It was good, I enjoyed it, including the golden one aswell.
Though Golden was just to cover the new girls story and events
