What are you Top 5 Story arcs in One Piece.
Mine are:

1.Enies Lobby
2.Marineford
3.Impel Down
4.Dressrosa
5.Sabaody Archipelago

I think it would have to be Dressrosa. Despite the progression of the plot being slow, I believe it's the most crucial arc when it comes to progression of the overall plot. Doflamingo was absolutely amazing as a villain, not to mention the bad-ass gear fourth by Luffy. This gave some of the most memorable moments so far in the One Piece arcs. The story has multiple things going on, and all are interconnected. Once pieced together this arc is like a work of art man.

I will agree to ap92 it had epic brawls in this arc although it was slowwwwww...w paced seriously, like a certain superman said -1 puch 9000 screams(no offense to DB)
its here now with 1min scene 9000 dramatic effects xD

I agree with ap92 as well in term of how crucial the Dressrosa arc is for the rest of the series. Doffy's downfall triggered a lot of things. However, I would not put it as one of my favorite arc yet, until I rewatched the entire series again, and have clearer judgement on the arc.

Hard to rank the One Piece arcs, every arc is amazing in its own right. The upcoming Zou is also a contender for one of the best One Piece arcs if it could keep up its awesomeness.

Sabaody Archipelago is my fav arc of all time, I feel like I'm the only one who has this as their fav hah.
Close second would Enies Lobby.

I might get hate for this, but I really enjoyed Fishman Island arc. Since it was just after the timeskip where everyone came back together. You could enjoy all the new techniques every had learned during the 2 years. Like Red Hawk, Gomu Gomu No Elephant Gatling, Blue Walk, Sky walk, SUPER Franky Shogun. And that amazing blast of Conqueror's haki that took out 50,000 fishmen and the reunite with Jinbei.

I actually disliked the Enies Lobby arc when compared to others. I just found the Luffy vs. Rob Lucci fight to be kind of boring and predictable. I understand too that it is most people's favorite fight, but it just didn't work for me, but oh well.

My favorite arcs in One Piece:

1. Post-War Arc
The heartwarming story of the three brothers Ace, Sabo and Luffy.

2. Loguetown Arc
Straw Hat pirates on the island where Gold Roger was born. Very interesting.
Also good characters like Smoker and Dragon are introduced.

3. Alabasta Arc
A civil war is about to happen in Alabasta. Very emotional, great characters, great villain.
The best "major" arc!

4. Skypiea Arc
Straw Hat pirates want to prove that sky islands exist. And they exist!
But a cruel and incredibly strong God waits for them. He even defeats Zoro easily.
The showdown between Luffy and Enel is epic.

5. Arlong Park Arc
Nami has a touching past, she tries to save her home island.
But she fails. So she asks the Straw Hat pirates to help her.

6. G-8 Arc
Straw Hat pirates falling from heaven to the Marine Base G-8. Some of them get caught.
A great and funny arc despite being an anime original arc.

7. Drum Island Arc
Straw Hat pirates need urgently a doctor for Nami. But the nearest doctor lives on a mountain.
Chopper's past is touching.

I somewhat like and dislike the Dressrosa arc. I like it because of Gear Four and dislike it because I dislike Doflamingo.

1 ENIES LOBBY: for me the best pre time-skip arc and the reason it's simple:
- Robin's Past
- Franky's past
- Introduction of Gear Second/Third
- The best villain pre time-skip Rob Lucci
- That's the arc (in my opinion) where One Piece really got serious

2 ZOU: because you go in this arc thinking it's going to be a transition arc like Jaya to Skypea, but u come out with SO MUCH STORY PROGRESSION
- Road Poneglyph
- the Kozuki clan
- Lord Oden & Roger
- Jack
- The Payback War
- Ninja/Mink/Pirate/Samurai Alliance)

3 MARINEFORD:
- fantastic art work by Oda in the manga, maybe the best.
- Ace dies and right after that Whiteveard dies
- Blackbeard "eats" two devil fruit
- Best animation
- Shanks
- Luffy's awakening the King's Haki

4 SABAODY:
- introduction of the second admiral Kizaru
- 11 Supernova
- Reyligh
- Introduction of the Celestial Dragons/ Luffy punching one of them
- The crew gets separeted by Kuma

5 DRESSROSA: it has a lot of neg points ( Rebecca/Viola, Usopp/Sugar, Luffy/Bellamy), but still it's so important this arc to the story line of One Piece:
- GEAR 4
- Fujitora
- Luffy vs Doflamingo
- Law vs Fujitora vs Doflamingo
- Franky vs Señor Pink
- Doflamingo's devil fruit awakening
- Law's Past (the best/sad one so far)
- Usopp observation Haki
- Luffy's Grand Fleet
- Return of Rob Lucci as CP0

If I say about the best story arc in one piece I will go for the Marine Ford arc. This arc gives a brief idea about the upcoming arc of the series, it shows the upcoming waves straw hat crew has to face. This arc is quite unique than other arcs cause of its tragic end. Luffy found himself quite a disaster situation and he realized that he has to be more strong for his future obstacles of being the king of pirates.

1- Ennies Lobby: Robin’s story, plus she joined for sure (except Rob Lucci fight, it was too long and anti-climactic)

2- Wano Kuni

3- Marineford

4- Thriller Bark

5- G-8 (even though filler, very funny with Condoriano and we see Robin shine again)

Least favorites were Skype and Whole Cake island (Repeat of Thriller bark, and annoying characters)
