It could be an OVA but I hope it's Season 2.

Since Mahouka produced by ANIPLEX, the possibilities of getting New Season is higher than another LN adaptation by Madhouse.

Look at SAO, Durarara, and Monogatari series. Another anime from Light Novel adaptation that ANIPLEX produced, still gets New Season 'till now (Aniplex really like Milking popular series).
