| Roughly a third of the way through Volume 3, Rou describes a tall, dark tower in a labyrinth city. He also makes note of a young boy with a cat girl both carrying swords. I'm just thinking that this may be a nod to danmachi as the first volume of its novel was most likely published before the third volume of Re:Monster. Did anyone who has read this far feel that there are similarities between the two instances? |
