KATANAGATARI
| I absolutely love this series, and I want to buy it physically. I know there's an English release, but it's very expensive, and I hear the subtitles are kinda crappy. But, there's also a French release, which is much cheaper. I've done a bit of searching, and I can't find any reviews that mention the translation quality, so I don't know if Black Box's subs are any good. If anyone has purchased the French release of this series, I would love to know what you think of the subs, since this is obviously a difficult series to translate well. |
| I'm currently watching it with the French edition. I don't speak Japanese and I've never seen the series before, so I can't really tell if it's faithfull or not to what they actually say... But it looks good. I mean, it's good French and it doesn't scream "TRANSLATION", adaptation is good, etc. |
