| Because it is basically the sci-fi equivalent to Slayers? A recycling of classic tropes/characters/settings of the genre for derision, exaggerated characters helping to set situational humour... (I suppose there is also a serious background story going on during all its length just like Slayers) I only watched a few episodes (around 2000) since I wanted so much to read the novels (who are probably doing very well in Japan, seeing the author made wrote several sequel LN series) before going further, but I gave up (no translation floating on the I ternet). What is it that makes it so detestable, please? |

| It's a funny series actually, with likeable characters. But of course it's not everybody's cup of tea. 1 is a quite harsh rating anyway. |
