| the anime is not conclusive because it's only until volume 23 of the manga. basically the anime didn't cover the whole manga. if you want to know how it ends, you have to read the manga... you can start from vol 23 onwards after you finish the anime. still, the anime ends in a standby situation that if you're not interested in reading afterwards, it's not that of a big deal. the anime covers a good chunk of story, still. regarding romance... it's very secondary, since the story is mainly about basketball and how sakuragi improves his basketball all throughout. so if you're really into the romantic side (sakuragi and haruko? miyagi and ayako?), without me spoiling anything, i'd say don't get your hopes too high. this is not a romance, after all. |
| As person above said, the anime only covers up to a certain point of the manga, which is around 190-200. If you wanna know how it ends then you gotta read the manga, it's better than the anime at some point because of how well drawn it is by Inoue sensei. Romance isn't this series' priority but you have few moments here and there. |
