Persona 4
| There's two anime adaptation from the game with the same name Persona 4 The Animation and Persona 4 The Golden Animation What is the difference between these two anime? I know there's new character in Golden that is Marie...other than the character what is the difference? Is the story just same but with new characters? Or the story is difference? If so starting from what episode it start to difference? Which is more worth my time in your opinion? Why? Thanks in advance for answering :) |

So does the anime the same? P4 and P4 Golden are the same game, but for different platforms. Golden has an extra character who brings an extra dungeon and an extra Social Link, plus Adachi's Social Link. The Animation follows the game to a tee. The Golden Animation only deals with the extra character and her social link and doesn't really follow the main storyline at all. |

| The original is an okay adaptation, but I still highly recommend playing the game first. Preferably Golden. But while Golden the game is a full on remake of the original game with a bunch of added features and story arcs, Golden the Animation is basically just the stuff that's exclusive to Golden. In other words it makes absolutely no sense at all on its own. But whether you want to watch the anime or play the game, DO NOT watch Golden The Animation to start off. |
