I heard its good but its slow paced and it has seemingly unrelated storihes until the end but is that one moment of happiness worth the time to watch the whole series?
I like meat.

Yes, it's worth watching.

It's not slow paced at all, at the beginning it just might seem confusing, but if you pay enough attention, it's not even that confusing.

Yeah, not really slow paced but their isn't s main character they focus on.

Just a bunch of characters that end up meeting each other someway or another

Yes, it is a masterpiece. Watch it. And then re-watch it. And then re-watch it again.

Yes, it bloody worth it, mate. No, it's not unrelated storylines, it's called non-linear plot. I.e. story presented not in classical historical introduction->culmination->end, but pieces of the whole complex story is given you in non-chronological order. Calling Baccano! "slow-paced unrelated stories" is like calling Kara no Kyoukai slow-paced unrelated stories, which is obviously a bloody bullcrap, mate. It's confusing only if you're a bloody little brat, which, I suppose, you aren't.
Drrr! is not better. 1st half of the 1st season is bloody good, than it's making a deep dive and never resurfaced.

There is such thing as shit taste. Only idiots think that every "work of art" should have the same value.

Persona anime are good. Deal with it.

Baccano is really good. It's not slow paced as people have said. The story-telling is not linear and not chronological. A lot of plot points only start to make sense during the run time of the show. Nonetheless, it's completely entertaining all the way through.

It's one of the best LN adaptation out there I'd say, very enjoyable.

It's Very good. Although it does somewhat overuse violence and confusion.

The central story is good, but convoluted, and it does not have as much characterization as needed. For a 13 episode+ 3 ova show, it is very good. There are some very memorable moments/characters.

No, overuse of violence is literally bloody Deadman Wonderland (really gore stuff), and overuse of confusion is Kyousou Giga (any & every part of franchise).

Deadman Wonderland doesn't really overuse violence compared to something like Gantz.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I finally came around to watching it and I thought it was one of the worst train wrecks I have ever watched. There is hardly an anime I liked less than this. The "story" was all over the place and the highly praised ending that brings it all together, was anticlimactic, stupid and boring. All the characters were just a barely recognizeable caricature of real people and their motivations were completely chaotic or a boring stereotype, there was no in-between. I hated it. I hated just about anything about it. And since my opinion differs so wildly from just about anyone I wanted to share it here.

I just finished watching it, and decided to check out the forums and your words couldn't have been more similar to mine! I absolutely cannot for the love of God understand how people would consider a boring, bland story like this, a "masterpiece". The whole non-linear narrative gimmick is just a shameful attempt to catch a few mindless eyes with its overly caricature and cartoon-ish characteristics. If this is a masterpiece then my middle school essays are godsends lol.
