 It will be revealed in the 38th issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine this year that an anime sequel of Terra Formars has been green-lit. The upcoming magazine issue will provide more information.Previously, the series was adapted into an animated TV series and OVA. A live-action film is also scheduled to premiere in 2016. The series is based on the manga of the same name written by Yu Sasuga and illustrated by Kenichi Tachibana. I felt the same way when Diabolic Lovers got a second season announced too ..T.T sometimes i feel the universe just wants to laugh at me. |

The manga is still selling a shitload, plus it's getting a Live Action Movie by Mike Takashi. The main purpose for an anime is to advertise and in this case it's advertising the Live Action Movie and the manga. Also West does not equate Japan. So no it didn't do shit like you are trying to imply, you're just letting your emotions cloud your judgement. A second season was not impossible to begin with. Its the same thing with Assassination Classroom where the anime sold like shit but the manga and Live Action Movie are selling a lot. So a second season was i confirmed. I won't lie that my emotions are clouding my judgement...hey if i was in the same position of being a fan of terraformers i would actually be jumping with joy right now...i am just letting my frustration out cause i am a bit jealous this got a second season but there are shows that i love that never got that chance...so i apologize i was not trying to imply anything. |

The current manga arc is ending I think so they can do it in one go. The anime sold enough, not that that they expected big sales anyways. It will increase manga sales or atleast keep it stable (it's already selling 500K+) And there is a live action movie coming out in 2016. |

| Hmmm... I didn't watch the first season except for some clips of the censoring for a laugh. However, I read some of the manga and it wasn't too bad. Though when it revealed the I pretty much lost interest. I finished that arc, but found that on top of the concept of giant super powerful cockroaches, it was just too wacky for me to handle. I may go back and read/watch at some point. |
