Nice to see Tokyo Ghoul at #1. It is always good when these highly requested titles do well because it shows publishers that people put their money where their mouth is.

Mm, Zelda is still alive...

Two Seraph of the End spots this week. Well, can't say that's too surprising. Interesting to see TG take the top spot for this week as well.

They prob realized how horrible the art is after volume 1 and decided to just wait for season 2 :D
Anyways, really glad to see Tokyo Ghoul Volume 1 doing well.

I think it's because many people try to get into the series, from word of mouth and hype, but not all of them, continue with the manga.

in 2014, Attack on titan vol.1, total sales were = 54,520
vol 2, total sales = 37,266

Also the art wasn't that great in the 1st volume. People might have been turn off from the art.

Well, I didn't see the art for the first volumes, but the art style is a whole is very unappealing imo.

I'd be surprised if Tokyo Ghoul wasn't number one. The first day it was available at my local comic book shop, copies were just flying off the shelves!

Is there a reason why the NY charts specifically does not show the amount of sales a volume has compared to the Japanese one?

Agree with it! I am happy that Owari is not just only popular in Japan but already in outside of it as well. It seems the anime really did something good out of it.

I really love the art style and how the story goes. Makes me think many theories and make me cry each chapter~
It's not a matter of talent. It's a matter of will
