| Epic episode is epic. It is very apparent now that the Eyes of Deathly Perception is not unique to Shiki anymore, and his relationship with the Tohno family is not as simplistic as it looks. The apparent 'killer' intrigues me. I have a feeling he is related to Shiki by blood in some ways or another. I just hope they avoid further digression (it is rather apparent now, at this juncture) which may condescend the plot, and his relationship with Arcueid. 5/5 Why are people so eager to compare this with the VN? Just like how I see the situation with many other vid game adapted anime, one must remember: the mainr eason why these anime exist are usually to promote the original work itself, so most would not try to supersede the former. However, as far as I have seen it (never played Tsukihime before), the anime by itself is some decent quality work, for something which has aged significantly over the years, it is still relevant even in today's standards. |

| This adaptation is so bad it's funny. Akiha is drinking Kohaku's blood, not sucking her tit. Their attempt to censor one of the scenes from the 18+VN only made it look like something dirtier. Here's how the scene looked like in the VN. Well, in the censored Mirror Moon English-translation patch anyway. |
