Just completed the anime and wanted to know how closely the manga is following the ln and which one would be more entertaining to read.

Kinda a late reply from me, but usually the novels are the better way to go.Since that is the original source material.

If you wanna know, I'd personally recommend the manga as it has great illustrations.

At first, when it comes to the scene it's more accurate than the anime. But the more the manga progress, it starting move on a different path. An example would be "power of trust" is a key for their success which contrast with the light novel. In the light novel, Raishin mentioned that conviction alone can't change anything but that conviction is what pulls humans together. I didn't really like where the manga is going. I recommend you read the light novel rather than the manga because a lot of things are omitted from the light novel. From what I remembered, the manga omitted a lot of foreshadowing than the anime. The manga was already axed 5 years ago. Don't worry, someone is currently translation the novel and is at volume 11 (90%).

Someone is currently translating the light novel and is on volume 11 (90%) but haven't released all volume 11's chapters yet.
