Oh, I do not mind such an end in story. But I'm embarrassed that the adaptation did not even hint at it. |

But as in the case of Mahouka, I do not like it when adaptation ignores some of the most important lines of the original novel. |

So yes, Erio ends up with the MC. I read them as far as they got TLed (up until Vol. 4 or so, about a little after the anime) but the series ends soon after. Frankly, the novels are kinda boring and don't have the same punch as the anime had. |

| The series either got such miserable ratings that it got cancelled or the author wrote himself into a corner with the supernatural stuff and ended it himself... meanwhile more than 10 years later people still want to know how this series ends. A bit sad, really. What's even sadder is that even a SHAFT anime couldn't save it. Well, my OTP was Maekawa and there was no way she would get an ending so I was screwed from the start 😅 |
