| The title started off quite excitingly, but sort of went downhill once Shinichi went postal after his mom died. The side and supporting characters were all over the place in the show, with too many of them acting like they have IQs of 50 or less. They tried to save it with the second last arc, and this last one was just a semi-decent "time-skip and trying to tie up loose ends" episode. The asspull with saving Murano was a bit blatant. Considering he had nothing else to hold on to, unless his body defies the laws of physics and allowed his shoes to spike into the roof somehow, he should have toppled over the edge along with her. Top that off with how far she fell before he managed to grab her, unless Migi did show up one last time..... then nope, still asspulling. I had a sudden, Captain Planet vibe to this last episode, what with the philosophical bull crap he was spewing. That became more prominent when Uragami started spilling his guts about the true human nature of cannibalism. Overall it was watchable, nothing great, but nothing to be wow'd over, specially after Mama Izumi got her head sliced off. Still, it wasn't hard on the eyes as I expected it to be, and it was kinda enjoyable in sections. 6/10 |

 Stupid and unnecessary are two great words to describe this episode. Kind of a cute ending, but the other 18 minutes weren't worth it, especially with all of the deus ex machinas... |

| Great episode with a great ending :) Even though he missed her hand and I figured Migi would save her somehow, I was still shocked, I guess the momentum built up so fast and I still got caught up with it. |

| Aside from some of the drawn out exposition, and the confrontation with Uragami, which was a bit forced and out of no where, I thought this was a pretty good episode. 4/5 for the episode. 7.5/10 overall. | Damn, it was a great ride. Sad to see it end though. Ah well, this shows had it's ups and downs, thought that the first half was almost flawless. Second half got a bit boring until like ep 20. All in all, I thought that this show was very enjoyable, so I'll give it a 8/10 final rating. |

| This show had largely been treading water in its second half, but these last few episodes have really made up for it. Sure, a few things go unanswered here and there, but that aside this was an excellent series, one which I will definitely miss (until the UK release at least). 10/10 |

| So it end's...okay nothing really great but not as bad as I had it in my memory(manga) First half was a good 7 but the second half was a 4. It was a good watch though,although I hoped Madhouse would make more out of the manga,but adaptation wise I have no real complaints. The ending song was the best thing about it tbh ;) |

| Wait, people said it had bad ending? Please. It could have been more climactic, but it was a good ending, the episode had amazing pacing. I expected it to be rushed but it was handled amazingly. Very good series, even after some disappointments. |

| Buildup after buildup after buildup... Was expecting something like a bit more of a BANG! for the ending... A bit disappointed I'll say. 8.0/10 Edit: 8 for now since I've just finished the last episode. After a few days when the "hype" in me for this will be over, I can finally judge it... [might even fall down to 7.0/10 for me] |

| A pretty solid adaption of a decent manga. I hope that more "older" manga get picked up and are adapted into anime. But I won't hold my breath with the sales this is having in Japan. |

| Very mediocre. This show had moments of genius, but was ultimately a very bland watch, with atrocious writing and extremely poor characters. The dialogue was laughable at times and the animation was satisfactory and nothing more. I did enjoy Shinichi's 'transformation' after his mother was killed; the characterisation there was different to most anime and took a genuinely intriguing direction, but it's a shame it all just faded into mediocrity after a while. I'm glad people have received a lot of enjoyment from this series, but it could have been so much more. 5/10 |

| Final guy didn't really go well as a threat, after the peak with Gotou. Good example I feel, of the pacing of the entire show. Also, this episode was kind of like the writers were checking through their list of themes, elaborating on everything but without really disguising it. Felt strange. The show still kept me watching until the end, though. I would say 6/10. |

| 7/10 for me. It started 9/10 but I was really hoping for more of a significant plot, and maybe a twist or two here and there but never got it. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, a 7/10 still means "good" and it's the same I rated Hellsing Ultimate. Both were solid, but aren't my "cups of tea". I enjoy great fluid action and gore, but not nonstop without something else for me to chew on. That being said, the first 12 episodes or so were fantastic in showing Izumi's transformation and growth. I just think for it to be 10/10 it needed to capitalize a little better on the amazing potential this series had instead of essentially putting out a hollow plot that looked really nice on the surface. In the end, it's my fault for expecting twists and plot from this series. I think if I expected it to be like it turned out to be, I would have enjoyed it more, rather than thinking it was going to turn into something I wanted and something it wasn't. |

It had a great OST, some solid animation, a great MC and a pretty nice approach to the parasyte side. It's flaws were those mentioned above, the badly paced episodes in the last part of the anime and the awful female lead. Overall, a solid 7/10. |
