| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, a decent amount of focus on Kirihito this episode. I suppose the last two episodes will conclude his role/arc. Good chemistry between Tomeo and Nanami this week as well although there's a certain amount of tense moments between the duo still. Kid Nanami is such a cutie. Those pigtails :3 |

| Back to that evil youkai who knows Tomoe, and Shimono-san's character is alive? His body is somewhere in volcanic mountain? I'm not sure if Tomoe and Nobu's character are in good term or not. They sometimes fight and sometimes are in good term. Almost new year, and needs to go to god's place. The trouble is they needs to pass 12 years of memories. Interesting... that's why she's a little kid. Start of learning why Nanami is the way she is. 26:30 next week? So late at finale! |

| Whoa, Kirihito. It was so cute when "his mother" called him and he broke the mirror so she wouldn't vanish/die. Like HHHHHHNG, you cutie! Young Nanami is so adorable. Tomoe watching her memories was <3 Awwwwwwn. His interaction with Mizuki was really cool as well. And I loved the marriage part. Also "I'm not getting married. Ever" I thought it was because of her parents, and apparently yea, it's because of them. I want to know more about her childhood! Oh god, I love her so much. It's really sad that the next episode is the last one ;_; PLUS: The preview! AWWWWWWN. Is he going to say something like "When you grow up we're gonna get married"? Oh, I'm gonna die. Tomoe and Nanami are one of the cutest couples of all time. I'm crying already. So. Cute. ♥ |

| I feel bad for Kirihito's 'mother' :( Nanami was adorable, she looked like the little girl from Aishiteruze Baby. I think she doesn't want to get married because of what happened between her parents. She has one of the worst anime fathers ever. I still want her to marry Tomoe though! OTP |

| Kirihito finding the body but broke the mirror that led to the underworld. Showing the importance of the pathway, yet it was immediately broken after seeing his mom! A 12 year younger Nanami was really cute, Nanami really took after her mother too to be able to smile to the ones they care about despite the situation. Definitely nice to see Tomoe interested in Nanami's past to this extent though! Not sure when 3rd season would come, but I really want to see that arc animated :O |

| That episode ending made me all sad and messed up :/ I finally understand that ED, with the characters looking on their past and at the end, turning the page to focus on the present. I feel retarded that I never understood it. Of course, I had never thought about Nanami mother, but I guess it's normal she died at young age, when you look at how the serie started. She never talked about her mom, but probably because she have nothing bad to say about her, just a sad departure. I also wonder what motivated the father to leave. Was it cowardise? Was it because he simply is an asshole? I somehow doubt that it is just because he is a jerk, I even believe that he'll show up at some point (certainly not in this season). |

| I find it really a big shame that they are not going to animate the next next arc which is the most interesting and important one. :( But I really really liked this Nanami's flashback in the manga and it really fitting for a last episode. |

| I'm a little concerned how they're going to wrap this up. Will it end with Nanami still being a child? What about Kirihito/Akura-ou? His role has seemed a little pointless to the story and I don't think they'll be able to squeeze something significant for him in the last episode. It'll either be rushed, lacking detail or with a lack-luster conclusion. I'm presuming there will be a season 3 though, hopefully the cliff hanger won't be too bad. |

| I really don't understand why they started with this now, when it's going to end next week. I love seeing little Nanami, although her story is really sad. But it's the way for Tomoe to get to know her better, the way she got to know him better on a occasion when she helped him in his past ( to bad they didn't show that in anime too). Anyway, they definitely need 3rd season. |

| I loved this episode and I'll love the next one even more. This YOU KNOW WHAT part in the manga is my most memorable manga moment ever (TomoexNanami OTP4Lyf) and I can't wait to see it animated so I can cry again because of the cuteness. I'm just so glad they decided to include it in the anime. I'm crying just from thinking about it GAH~~ QAQ Oh and Kirihito is awesome, it was nice seeing him take over the first half of the episode. Let's all hope for season 3! And that it wouldn't take years for us to be able to meet the gang again :3 |
| Nice Episode! I'm truly in love with this anime. I even started reading the manga an checking on the new chapters as soon they released in JP(and I'm not that Shoujo-fan per se). Unfortunately, the next episode is the last one. I hope we'll get a third season soon. babymimi said: I feel bad for Kirihito's 'mother' :( Well, following the manga and it's current events, I'm almost sure that Kirihito's mother might play a bigger role towards the end of the Akura-oh/Kirihito Arc. [spoiler] In one of the latest chapters of the manga Yatori 'kills' Kirihito's mother while Akura-oh is in the Underworld to take back his body. I'm not sure if she's really dead, though. The scene seems ambiguous. We see Yatori and the mother fight. Yatori is choking Kirihito's mother and in the last panel we see her lying on the ground. Maybe he devoured her? Well, we'll see. But I think this could be important in the future. It is kinda obvious that Kirihito (or would it be more exact to speak of Akura-oh himself?) cares for his mother - in a special way. The destruction of the stone mirror portal in this episode makes this clear. |

| Oh Nanami's past was sad to watch. I almost forgotten that the series introduced us to Nanami as a homeless student, with a dad always on the move to avoid paying debts. So hopefully we learn more about her, as Tomoe and Mizuki linger a bit longer in her past |

| Kirihito was really admirable in the way he risked his chances of getting back to hell for the sake of his human mother. Child Nanami was sooo cute, but her past is really heartbreaking. I'm looking forward for a dramatic but sweet next episode. |

| Haha Tomoe's face when Nanami said she wouldn't get married. ever. XD That scene where Akura-oh broke the portal was intense. He treats his mom like shit, but still loves her enough to shatter the gateway to his greatest desire. That scene with Nanami and her mom made me tear up. |
