| The girls acted like Keiichi was there during the festival. Satoko acted like her uncle was still alive. And in the end, they couldn't find the corpse. What. The. Fuck I originally thought the girls were covering up for him...(saying he was at the festival, when he wasn't) until Satoko is crying because the bad uncle is still beating her. That means Oyashiro curse/possession of the uncle. OR he is dead and someone moved the body to help the cover up, possibly Takano-san, and Sakoto is pretending. ORRR he's at the wrong hole, because hes losing it. Speculation continues.... Dingle said: Keiichi covered the real hole with a fallen tree and leaves..Did he forget? God this arc is strange. This as well I think its the wrong hole. |

| When you think about it, I believe it makes sense that the Uncle was still alive - in the last previous arcs' last episode I'm sure it was mentioned that all the people who were murdered (Tomitake, etc) were dead before Keichi even met them (Even Shion was dead when Keichi was stabbed by her). It seems that when someone dies in Hinamizawa, they stay alive for one day before dying again, or something along those lies. |

| This is the first episode to truly draw me in. The beginning half was okay but now things are getting really juicy. I love mindfucks. |

| Ooishi really plays the part of a bad cop well. Badass. Keiichi, it is not good to curse you know, maybe the curse can really come true. That doctor(the real doctor/coach, not the doctor who ripoff of that horny woman) must be behind the drug/syringe. I can't think that this was a coincidence he was on the cotton butt committee. If he was digging at the first hole and not the hole covered with leaves, he is either a lame murderer or a really funny one. The demon is now Satoko's uncle. He/she shape shifts and was alibi for Keiichi and was also horny woman in car. Demon went to festival on Mion's request with cycle and then when coming back, came as horny woman and kept cycle in her car. Then proceeded to move to Satoko's place. The real horny woman died before the festival. |

| Talk about subverting expectations, I expected the arc to conclude with part 4 like usual. This was a complete mindfuck, I have so many questions. If I had to guess I'd say that Keiichi might have switched timelines or something. I'm inclined to believe that's the case because it can't be a coincidence that what the girls were describing is exactly how Keiichi was behaving in a previous arc. Who knows, maybe Keiichi will even find his own dead body. The question is what triggered the change in timeline? I have absolutely no idea. Takano-san is a real mystery still. I suspected her to have that camera guy's dead body inside of her trunk last episode so her having his bike in the car just makes things more fishy. But it begs the question why the hell is she dying by the curse every time and who is killing her? The doctor seems like he wouldn't kill someone so I might have misjudged him before or maybe it's just a red herring before he reveals his true psychotic nature. Dammit this anime is making me paranoid. Also the cop is an asshole, hope he gets a few nails in his fingers. |

| Keiichi is quite the dumbass, given that his teacher said he's so damn smart. Did he hallucinate there or what happened? And Takano burned to death again... |
| If Keiichi did kill Satoko's uncle instead of going to the festival, why is everyone pretending to have met him at the festival? Or, is there a doppelganger of Keiichi hanging around with others while pretending to be him? The biggest question – Why is Satoko's uncle still alive? Isn't he supposed to be dead? And if everyone IS trying alter the truth of Satoko's uncle being dead, where did his corpse go? This episode brought up a lot of questions, but in a really great way. I hope their answers will be given in the next episode, or at least in the next arc, even if not directly. I really hated Oishi in this episode by the way. |
