| The episode would not be bad, but given the brevity of the TV series, had to show a lot more things in the narrative, so removing only space for what would come later. | I hate to say it, but I guess the weak really does end up being the villain or easily persuaded to do what they think is right and side with the opponent. In Tor's case, he's not weak-weak, just cautious & being fueled by vengeance so he's not easily persuaded. In Miyabi's case, she's not only physically weak, but mentally & emotionally as well; her self-confidence is shot as well, hence why she was easily lured to the "dark side." |

| They keep trying to push that the MC is 'an avenger' but his actions (from the beginning) show him to be mostly fueled by 'happy school fun with harem girls'. If his motivation was vengeance -he wouldn't be wasting his time harem-ing and he would have instantly injected the lvl 4 juice. I mean he just did the disgustingly cliche 'I don't have to give up anything -I'll get power, friends and girls' scene. |

| Not sure why Tooru has any doubts about taking the Level 4 upgrade. The only fights he conclusively won on his own so far were against Imari (who failed the entrance test) and Miyabi (who is deliberately portrayed as weak and clumsy). He's lost every other solo fight, including against Tomoe and Julie. This upgrade would at least give him a chance of fulfilling his goal of "protecting" people, so I'd be injecting it without hesitation. |
